August 8, 2015 – Two newly refurbished GP-35’s painted in Palmetto Railways colors were the last two engines on CSX’s Q515-07 as it headed south on the Henderson Subdivision today. The engines are marked WRIX 3503 and 3507. The first two shots show the train at the south end of the siding at Rankin, Ky and the last two are of the train as it heads out of Sebree, Ky.
July 28, 2015 – Paducah and Louisville’s University of Kentucky engines 2012 and 4522 lead a loaded coal train as it as it heads east past the the PeeVee Spur on CSX’s Morganfield Branch in Madisonville, Ky. The second UK engine, 4522 came out of the Paducah NRE paint shop about a month ago and the lettering and graphics on the side of the engine is different than 2012. The other two photos show the loaded train headed down the Warrior Coal lead, heading toward Paducah and Louisville’s West Yard in Madisonville.
