April 4, 2015 – CSX ethanol train K457 heads south towards Sadler Rd south of Guthrie, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision with engine 5300 in the lead.

April 4, 2015 – CSX Loaded coal train T087 heads through the cut approaching Adams, Tennessee after crossing the Red River Trestle as it moves it’s load south on the Henderson Subdivision.

March 27, 2015 – CSX Q028, with engine 625 in the lead, rounds a curve as it heads south into downtown Sebree, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision.

April 1, 2015 – Loram DC-2 Ditch Cleaner works along CSX’s MH&E (used to be L&N’s Madisonville, Hartford and Eastern Subdivision) approaching the crossing at Liberty Church Road in Madisonville, Ky.

March 31, 2015 – CSX Q124 heads north through the south end of Casky at Hopkinsville, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision. In the foreground you can see that they’ve started laying tracks in the new Casky Inspection Yard.

March 31, 2015 – CSX Q025 heads through the south end of Latham Siding at Hopkinsville, Ky with BNSF 7076 in the lead, as it moves it’s intermodal train south on the Henderson Subdivision.

March 28, 2015 – UP 9679 leads a mixed freight past UP’s Lenox Tower at Mitchell, Illinois onto the Alton & Southern Railway, which is owned by UP, as it heads toward St. Louis.

March 27, 2015 – CSX M038-27 Ballast train heads south at Sebree, Ky on the Henderson Subdivision with engine 7569 in the lead.

March 27, 2015 – CSX G247 approaches the Slaughters-Elmwood Road crossing at Slaughters, Ky as engine 4712 leads the loaded grain train south on the Henderson Subdivision.

March 27, 2015 – CSX G167 passes the tail end of Q028 in the siding at the south end of the Sebree, Ky siding as it moves south on the Henderson Subdivision with a load of grain.

March 28, 2015 – A UP northbound empty grain train heads through Granite City, Illinois just south of St. Louis, Missouri with engine 5389 in the lead.

March 28, 2015 – A BNSF empty ethanol train passes Lenox Tower at Mitchell, Illinois, with unit 7923 in the lead as it heads north.

March 27, 2015 – CSX Q597-25 moves down the Earlington Cutoff along Curtis Mine Road at Madisonville, Ky, with BNSF 8407 in the lead and 9 more engines in trail, as they head south on the Henderson Subdivision.

March 26, 2015 – Kansas City Southern engine 4178 heads up a Norfolk Southern loaded coal train as it sits in the siding at Caneyville, Ky, on the Paducah and Louisville Railway, waiting in the rain for a crew to take it on north towards Louisville.

March 26, 2015 – I spent a good part of today giving chase to Paducah & Louisville’s 3807 and 1998 who were pulling Federal Railroad Administration Office of Safety inspection train DOTX 219 north from Princeton to Louisville, Ky. DOTX 219 is on it’s way to New Albany, Indiana for maintenance.

March 10, 2015 – CSX engine 774 brings up the rear of a light engine move as it approaches the signals at White City on the Henderson Subdivision’s Earlington Cutoff at Mortons Gap, Ky as it heads north.

March 24, 2015 – CSX empty coal train T178-14 appears from around the curve as it heads up grade running longside Curtis Mine Road on the Earlington Cutoff at Madisonville, Ky as it heads south on the Henderson Subdivision with engine 5496 in the lead.
