While out roaming around today, enjoying the nice weather and looking for things to photograph, I stumbled across this game of Rugby in Hopkinsville, Ky. Not having shot sports in awhile I thought I’d stop and see if I couldn’t get a picture I could use for this week’s “Rule of Thirds” challenge. I made the guy in green reaching for the ball from a throw-in from the sidelines my main subject as I really like how he’s stretching out trying to catch the ball.
I do think this is the first time I’ve shot Rugby since I was in college at Syracuse University.
