I like the leading line of this driveway, dark shadows and and the highlights of the sun filtering through the clouds on this shot I did today just south of Hopkinsville, Ky. I think everything contributes to the air of mystery that I wanted this photo to convey. I’ve passed this driveway many times as I travel down US 41 toward Nashville and thought that I needed to stop and shoot a photo, but the lighting was never dramatic, like I envisioned, until today.
Photo shot with the iPhone 5s using the Hipstamatic app with the Lowy lens and Claunch 72 Monochrome film. In Photoshop I did some dodging and burning and converted it to a true grayscale image. Some sharpening was also applied using Topaz Adjust.
